Google Shopping · New image rules from January 31, 2027
We’d like to put 10 of your pieces on a model, free, as a test.
Google is tightening its image rules: images under 500 × 500 pixels are rejected, and AI images must carry a label. A good moment to add the image that sells, done right from the start.

Your photoOn a model
Your next 10 new arrivals, just as you took them. Attach them to an email to fashion@universalvocabulary.com.
We send them back as images on a model, each one checked by a person against your original. 1500 px, with the AI label Google Shopping requires. Free.
If you like them, send your new arrivals as they come. We agree the terms by email, and you only pay for images that pass. No subscription.
In your shop
The model image leads the listing and stops the scroll. Your own photo stays right next to it, so buyers see exactly the piece they get.

Control
Buyers get exactly the piece they see. That is why a person checks every image, detail by detail, before it is delivered.
The shoes are styling. Only the dress is for sale, and we recommend saying so in the listing.
Human in the loop: a person controls every step, from the first look at your shop to the final delivery. The AI does the work. People decide what leaves us.
A person looks at your shop: what you sell, how you photograph it, who buys from you, and the look your catalogue should have.
Each item is recorded and annotated by a person before production, so that every detail that matters is known in advance.
Your own photographs, on a hanger, on a mannequin or laid flat, become images of the garment on a model. A person sets up and follows every run.
A person sets backgrounds, framing and models for your catalogue, and keeps them consistent from the first item to the last.
A person compares every image with your original: cut, colour, buttons, seams, pattern, labels, length.
A person releases every delivery. The images arrive ready for your shop or marketplace, in the formats you need.
Lead partners
We are starting with a small number of consignment and vintage shops. We get to know each shop, its pieces and its customers, and agree the workflow and terms together.
Lead partners receive introductory terms, agreed by email.
Send us 10 photosfashion@universalvocabulary.com
Photos of your next 10 new arrivals, back on a model.
Agreed by email with each partner. Only images that pass are charged.
Backgrounds, framing and models are set up for your catalogue, and stay consistent.
You talk to a person who knows your shop and is there for you, not to a machine.
Every garment,
worn once more.
It can try. That is why a person checks every image against your original before delivery. If a detail cannot be matched reliably, you will not receive that image, and it is not charged.
Yes. Every image is 1500 pixels, well above Google’s minimum of 500 × 500 pixels that applies from January 31, 2027, and carries the AI label in its metadata, as Google requires. With a light studio background and your item as the clear focus, the on-model image can serve as your main image on Google Shopping.
Yes, and we do it for you. Realistic AI images of people should be identified as AI-generated. A clear label also protects you from complaints that a buyer was misled.
You can use them for selling your items. Some marketplaces have their own rules about photos, so check yours. Showing your original photographs alongside is always a good idea.
You may use them without restriction for your shop. Purely AI-generated images may have limited copyright protection, so they are not exclusive in the way a commissioned photo shoot would be.
No. The models are generated and are not based on any real person.
They are used only for your order and processed only with paid AI services whose terms exclude using customer images to train their models. We never publish them.
The test with 10 pieces is free. After that, we agree the terms by email, based on your volume. You only pay for images that pass our check, and there is no subscription.
No, and it should not. The model image shows style and fit. Keep your original photographs in the listing, so buyers see the condition exactly.
Send photos of your next 10 new arrivals to fashion@universalvocabulary.com, just as you took them. We send them back on a model, free, and then talk about workflow and terms.
Attach them to an email. For more pieces, a shared folder link (Google Drive, Dropbox) works best. One or more photos per piece, the whole piece visible.
